We are seeking a Senior Financial Management Accountant to join our team on a temporary (12 months), full-time basis. The role will be based at Sydney Olympic Park with hybrid work options.
We offer a competitive salary to the right candidate with salary range starting from $120,859 up to $133,183 per annum plus 11% superannuation and leave loading.

About you
Our ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
1. Demonstrated experience in finance and accounting roles with strong knowledge of leading the reporting function.
2. Ability to offer expert advice and guidance on financial matters and drive improvements in systems, processes and procedures.
3. Proven proficiency in financial analysis, variance analysis and preparation of financial management reports for informed decision making.

Essential Requirements
4. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business Studies or in a related discipline and eligibility for membership to a recognised professional accounting institution.
5. Experience in financial accounting and reporting and in budget preparation and management.
6. Thorough knowledge and understanding of public sector accounting policies, practices and relevant statutory requirements.
7. Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
