DBCT is seeking an experienced and motivated Port Facility Security & Services Supervisor to lead the delivery of our site security, access management, cleaning and shuttle bus services.
This role sits within the Business Improvement team and has a strong operational and compliance focus. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple services, building relationships and enhancing safety and security outcomes across a complex site.
As the Port Facility Security & Services Supervisor, you will:
* Act as the designated Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), ensuring DBCT’s compliance with Maritime Security Regulations.
* Support all aspects of site security including access control, master key management, CCTV support, incident reporting, audits and contractor performance.
* Manage the delivery and quality of DBCT’s site cleaning and shuttle bus services, including contract performance meetings, audits, utilisation reporting and issue resolution.
* Maintain high quality security practices, procedures and site access processes.
* Oversee contract security guards and ensure compliance with site expectations.
* Raise and manage monthly financial obligations, including purchase orders and invoice approvals.
* Conduct regular security and cleaning audits, ensuring continuous improvement.
* Support investigations, prepare regulatory reports and maintain the Maritime Security Plan and related systems.
* Ability to provide 24/7 on call support for security related matters.
* Liaise with and inform government agencies, police and other relevant parties of security measures, property breaches and compliance when required.
What we are looking for
* Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) competency or willingness to complete PFSO training.
* Strong leadership capability with experience coaching and developing staff.
* Proven experience coordinating contractors under service agreements, fostering strong collaboration between contractors and internal teams.
* Skilled in auditing, policy development and report writing, preferably within a regulatory framework.
* Well developed interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and database systems.
* Current Australian Class C driver’s licence (highly desirable).
