Facilities Compliance and Projects Officer
Temporary, full-time (up to 6 months)

We're looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Facilities Compliance and Projects Officer to join our Facilities Management team on a temporary full‑time basis for up to 6 months. If you enjoy coordinating compliance activities, supporting safe and efficient facility operations and contributing to projects that help keep our workplaces running smoothly, this role offers a great opportunity to apply your technical skills in a collaborative environment.
In this role, you'll support the safe, compliant and efficient operation of our Main Works Depot and Administration Centre facilities. You will coordinate statutory inspections, oversee corrective actions, support contractors on site and assist with a range of facility‑related projects and compliance activities.
This Exciting Role Will
Coordinate statutory and compliance inspections for facility assets such as lifts, fire systems, automatic doors, security systems, first aid stations and electric gates
Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, codes and standards, including SafeWork NSW registrations and the Annual Fire Safety Statement
Assess inspection reports, review quotes and support the delivery of approved corrective works and upgrades
Monitor budgets, ensure accurate cost allocation and contribute to planning of facility maintenance and improvements
Support environmental management activities including waste removal, wastewater systems, hazardous substance disposal and groundwater monitoring
Assist in the investigation and resolution of facility‑related incidents and hazards
Provide technical advice on repair works and major equipment replacement
Coordinate contractors and tradespeople on site to ensure safe and high‑quality work
Conduct general condition assessments of facility assets

What You'll Bring
Certificate IV qualification (minimum) in a relevant field such as Engineering, Project Management, Asset Management or Civil Construction
Experience in building services, facility safety or compliance
Strong project coordination and organisational skills
General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Class C driver's licence

Competitive salary from $1,663.38 to $1,933.14 per week
12% superannuation
