As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, assisting with the implementation of plans, and supervising other practitioners.
The work is based on the principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults in various settings.
You will make positive changes to the lives of others by developing and maintaining relationships, providing direct behavioural interventions, and developing Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans.
Additionally, you will provide support and training to colleagues, caregivers, and support workers on clinical techniques, partner with various professionals, and adhere to legislative requirements regarding timely and accurate report writing and documentation.
