This is a Risk Analyst - Line 1 role with Reserve Bank of Australia based in Sydney, NSW, AU Reserve Bank of Australia Role Seniority - mid level More about the Risk Analyst - Line 1 role at Reserve Bank of Australia Hybrid work environment 24 month max term contract Play an important part shaping the future of risk management in our iconic Australian institution About the business/role/team Join our Line 1 risk management community, you will work with key Line 1 departments and Line 2 CRO team to strengthen the Bank's risk culture and risk and compliance management practices. About the role Lead / contribute to the design and implementation of the target state operational risk and compliance frameworks, policies and standards. Provision of subject matter expertise, coaching, training and/or guidance to support the business areas to implement (meet) the target uplift in risk management practices. Manage internal and external relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders. About you Demonstrated ability in supporting a business and Line 2 stakeholders to invest in strengthening risk management practices. Demonstrated ability to draw on an understanding of current industry best practice regarding risk and/or compliance frameworks/practices, preferably within Central Banking or Financial Services more broadly. Demonstrated ability to communicate accountabilities and responsibilities in a mature 3 Lines of Accountability (3 Lines of Defence) model. Demonstrated ability to identify and anticipate risk and/or compliance-related challenges related to the Central Bank's strategy and operational processes. Understanding of Bank-wide (or similar organisation) risk and compliance management frameworks, policies and standards. Demonstrated ability to monitor and guide on compliance, as well as influence business and Line 2 stakeholders.
