* $109,901 per annum + 12% superannuation
* Full time, Fixed term to 23 October 2026
* Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home – 3 days a week in office)
About the opportunity
The Marketing and Communications Consultant is part of the Business Communications team, which delivers and supports the marketing communications needs of WorkSafe's business units. This position works closely with the Manager of Business Communications and Senior Advisors to deliver WorkSafe's external communications programs and campaigns. The Marketing and Sponsorship team includes Business Communications, Marketing, Sponsorship and Brand and Design, and is part of the wider External Affairs team. Key accountabilities of the role include:
* Assisting with development and implementation of communications strategies to support business initiatives, projects and tactical campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Working collaboratively across the business and providing specialised services, ensuring marketing and communications initiatives meet stakeholder needs and align with WorkSafe's strategic priorities.
* Working collaboratively with suppliers such as creative and media agencies to deliver communications activities and campaigns.
* Development of post-campaign reports outlining opportunities for amplification

About you
You will have proven experience in delivering multi-channel marketing, communications and public relations campaigns, including digital and social channels. You will have a strong focus on collaboration and be comfortable working with a broad range of complex stakeholders in an issues rich environment. You'll bring strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to convey messaging simply and effectively to a range of audiences. You will have sound organisation skills and be comfortable managing your multiple concurrent activities. You will have tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
