Responsibilities:
* Develop and deploy automated compliance controls and reporting processes with a high level of autonomy.
* Contribute to the delivery and enhancement of the Non-Financial Risk framework, including conflict of interest governance.
* Act as the lead owner for the conflict of interest technology platform, ensuring it meets regulatory standards and operational needs.
* Provide guidance to junior colleagues, promoting strong compliance behaviours and ongoing improvement.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Proven experience in a Control Room or Conflict of Interest function within Institutional or Corporate Banking, managing sensitive information and implementing controls to prevent insider trading.
* Strong understanding of corporate finance, markets products, and corporate advisory, including M&A and private banking transactions.
* Demonstrated experience in implementing conflict management technology solutions and managing regulatory change, with knowledge of RG181 and RG264.
* Ability to analyse data, provide reporting insights, and advise senior stakeholders on compliance and trading restrictions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across international banks or large institutional teams.
