**About the role**:
The Portfolio Coordinator will provide support to the Executive Technology Delivery Manager - Infrastructure and Portfolio Manager - Infrastructure and ensure the smooth running of projects within the portfolio. The Portfolio Coordinator is an integral part of the leadership team and will play an active can-do role in maintaining controls and driving positive change across the portfolio.
You will provide support throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the PMO function to ensure all data is accurate within the project management tool, identifying portfolio risks and issues, translating into status reports and packs for the project Steering Committees and providing minutes and follow up actions.

**What you'll do**:
- Support all elements of the project lifecycle
- Working with Project Managers to maintain the project management tool with schedule, budget, risks and issues on a periodic basis
- Assist in the preparation of status reports in PowerPoint and Word.
- Schedule/attend portfolio reviews, take minutes/actions and follow up where needed
- Coordinate project SteerCo's: prepare presentation packs for PM review/distribution, attend SteerCo's and take minutes/follow-up actions.
- Act as a support/coordination point for project managers to ensure that each project's documentation record system contains all relevant project documentation and is appropriately maintained.
- Assist in making effective trade off decisions, shaping and reshaping of scope to manage risk, while maintaining strong oversight of quality, time, cost, risk, quality clarity of solution and associated value
- Create and maintain the portfolio flight plan included dependencies between projects.
- Support the ETDM and Portfolio Manager to perform project reviews, including schedules, risks, issues, financials and governance controls.
- Track risk and issue treatment actions across all projects and alert PM's for any compliance issues.
**What you'll bring**:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Coordinator role or similar, working with complex IT projects
- within a formal project delivery framework
- Microsoft Project Online or equivalent Project Portfolio Management tool (e.g. Primavera, Artemis)
- Experience maintaining project budgets - maintaining forecasts and actuals
- Experience maintaining project schedules, tracking and updating deliverables and milestones
- Experience of formal project reporting - Microsoft Project, Power BI
- Microsoft Excel (intermediate level skills - comfortable with functions, formulas and Pivot Tables)
- JIRA and Confluence (essential)
- Microsoft Word & PowerPoint
- Knowledge of fundamental agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
- Sound knowledge of Portfolio Governance methods
- Strong and proven stakeholder management skills, excellent communication skills
- Sound knowledge of finance processes with the ability to interpret and analyse reports relevant to area of responsibility.
- Strong ability to prepare written reports and visually represent information.
