About the Role:
This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements and competitive yearly base remuneration.
In addition to coaching responsibilities, the candidate will be responsible for organising padel clinics, competitive and social tournaments, assisting in coordinating other Padel special events, and creating a padel coaching program to be run through classes and courses.
Senior Coach duties:
* to run Padel private and group classes to all levels and age groups
* to create a coaching program/contents
* to coordinate and training junior coaches
* to assist in coordinating other padel special events (e.g corporate events, schools)
About the Club:
We are Indoor Padel Australia - the largest padel club in Australia
Situated in Alexandria, our club features eight indoor and two outdoor courts. With our indoor facilities, coaching activities can continue uninterrupted regardless of weather conditions.
About You:
We're seeking a certified Senior Padel tennis coach, we require the following skills:
* Certification: Possession of relevant coaching certifications or qualifications from recognised padel tennis associations or federations or other recognised certifiers.
* Padel Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience in padel tennis, including understanding of rules, techniques, and strategies.
* Coaching Experience: Proven track record of coaching padel players at various levels, from beginners to advanced, ideally with at least 3 years of experience in coaching. Experience also Working with Children (WWCC required)
* Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate instructions, feedback, and strategies to players in a clear and constructive manner. Advanced English level required.
* Player Development: Skill in designing and implementing training programs tailored to individual player needs, focusing on skill enhancement, physical conditioning, and mental preparation.
* Leadership: Strong leadership qualities to motivate and inspire players, as well as to manage and coordinate coaching staff effectively.
Preference will be given to coaches who have competed at a high level in padel, such as playing in their country's 1st category league, participating in the main international professional circuit, or being part of the national team.
