We are seeking a Chef de Partie/Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Kings Creek Hotel. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality dishes and have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic kitchen environment.
The role involves assisting in the preparation and production of menu items, ensuring food safety guidelines are followed, and collaborating with the head chef and sous chefs to develop new dishes and menus. Other responsibilities include monitoring portion and waste control, maintaining a clean and organized work area, training and supervising junior kitchen staff, and contributing creative ideas for continuous improvement of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the preparation and production of menu items
* Ensuring food safety guidelines are followed
* Collaborating with the head chef and sous chefs to develop new dishes and menus

Requirements:
* Strong culinary skills and attention to detail
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
* Prior experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or similar role in a high-volume kitchen setting
* Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting diverse cuisines
