This opportunity is for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people. The Salvation Army's driving mentorship program aims to equip young people with the skills and confidence to obtain their driver's license.
As a volunteer driving mentor, you will be required to assist program participants in logging necessary hours, reinforce safe driving skills, and ensure all road rules and regulations are followed.
This role is ideal for those who are empathetic, understanding, and able to build rapport with young people from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to program participants

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Unrestricted Driver Licence - held minimum of 3 years
* High level of maturity and leadership skills
* Reliability and commitment to the volunteer position

* Empathetic and understanding approach to working with young people
* Ability to handle complex or stressful situations
