SESLHD Pharmacy Services is an extended hours service and our team is operational seven days per-week.The RoleThe Deputy Director of Pharmacy is a senior leadership role within the SESLHD Pharmacy Services Leadership team. The role is to assist the Director of Pharmacy Prince of Wales Hospital and The Royal Hospital for Women to deliver a high-quality pharmacy service according to accepted standards and benchmarks.The role provides leadership, operational oversight and expert guidance to the teams delivering comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to all patients in line with organisational priorities. This includes optimising patient outcomes by working with colleagues and other Health Care Professionals to enhance the Quality Use of Medicine. (QUM).The Deputy Director of Pharmacy, Prince of Wales Hospital and The Royal Hospital for Women works closely with the Team Leader and Lead Pharmacists and Lead Pharmacy Technicians in the department to maintain leadership and management of the pharmacy team across the seven-day week.
