Senior Account Executive - Mid-Market Sales (Brisbane)
Join New Relic as a Senior Account Executive in Brisbane, leading the sales effort for mid-market customers in an AI-first world.
Responsibilities
Drive new logo acquisition by selling to all stakeholders within new accounts.
Collaborate with New Relic sales support resources (executives, demand generation, solution consulting) to position New Relic against the competition.
Own territory, cultivate relationships with C-level executives and influencers, and configure appropriate offerings from New Relic's portfolio.
Use New Relic's sales process to close large-scale, multi-year subscription-based deals, prepare accurate forecasts, and maintain a pipeline in Salesforce.
Diagnose each account's business plan and technology stack, review public information, and stay updated on potential demand triggers.
Demonstrate proficiency across New Relic product lines and quantify business value for customers.
Qualifications
7-10 years of relevant experience.
Track record of closing multi-year SaaS subscription deals and a quota-carrying sales experience at a software / technology company focused on new business acquisition.
Tenacity, sense of urgency, and results-driving mindset.
Proven ability to cultivate relationships based on advising on quality or manufacturing insights, best practices, and strategy.
Excellent leadership and ability to work with and indirectly manage sales support colleagues.
Viewed as an expert in domain by accounts.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
