In the role of a Project Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, implementation, management, and co-ordination of small to large scale commercial projects that vary in complexity.
Under minimal supervision, your responsibilities include planning, scheduling, directing, application engineering, procurement, field installation, start-up, and close out of assigned projects. You will ensure projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost, time schedules and ensure positive cash flow. In addition, the position is key interface with the customer and responsible for maximising customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.
Knowledge and experience in technical understanding of the approved & Industry recognised methods of delivering projects from Pre-Start, Rough-In, Fit Off Commissioning and Defects Liability support of Integrated Security systems. Systems include Access Control, IO CCTV Systems and Platforms, Intercom Systems, and other integrated system connections.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Manages, oversees, and coordinates many aspects for all projects (small to large) of moderate complexity from award through completion of project, including overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget as required by the contract.
2. Translates a variety of customer needs / requirements into detailed proposals and project implementation plans to meet customer requirements; reviews and approves estimated costs prior to bid; provision of technical assistance to sales force as and when required; supervision of project design engineering; supervision of installation labour and subcontractors.
3. Effectively communicates with our clients, contractors we are engaged by our internal teams and our project teams as well as the wider organisation.
4. Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimise impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
5. Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, services, and controls necessary for timely and cost effective completion of project within budget.
