This is not a corporate caretaker role. This is a hands-on General Manager opportunity for someone who wants to take full ownership of a growing business and scale it.
You will step into a true GM seat with autonomy, authority and accountability.
The Opportunity
The business is lean, founder-led and entering its next phase of structured growth. Systems need strengthening. Teams need building. Bottlenecks need removing. Standards need protecting.
You will take control of day-to-day operations and run the business as if it were your own.
You will:
* Lead sales, operations, supply chain and customer delivery
* Hold full P&L responsibility
* Build structure, reporting and scalable systems
* Recruit, develop and lead a high-performance team
* Improve efficiency, margins and delivery timelines
* Protect product quality and brand reputation
This role requires judgement, decisiveness and a bias to action. You must be comfortable operating autonomously and making informed commercial decisions quickly.
You will need to get into the detail when required. You will solve problems as they arise. You will build the right team and address capability gaps where necessary.
What We Are Looking For
You're a commercially-minded operator who has already scaled a lean SME and can bring structure without slowing the business down. We want clear evidence of your role in prior business growth — not simply tenure.
Industry background is flexible. Mechanical or industrial exposure is advantageous, but strong operational literacy is essential.
