About the role
As a HR Administrator at Youth Futures, you'll play a vital role in supporting our team by handling administrative tasks related to HR functions. Specifically, you'll:
* Provide administrative support to the HR team, including assisting with recruitment
* Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive transition for employees
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee lifecycle data
* Assist with preparing employee contracts, variations, and onboarding documentation
* Participate in and contribute positively to team meetings and projects
What you'll bring
* A strong admin background and experience in HR administration
* A solutions‑focused mindset and strong work ethic
* Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with employee matters
* Strong organisational and communication skills with attuned attention to detail
* The capacity to deliver high quality documentation and meet moving deadlines
* Competency in using Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
Highly desirable criteria include:
* Experience using HR Information Systems such as Employment Hero
* Experience working within a not‑for‑profit
* Certificate IV in Human Resources
An additional benefit: generous salary packaging where you can package up to $15,900 for general living expenses and an additional $2,650 for entertainment benefits per annum.
