Location: Multiple locations across Brisbane (including Sunnybank Hills) and the Gold Coast, QLD
Salary: $77,000 - $85,000 + super (commensurate with experience)

About the Role
We are seeking qualified and experienced Retail Butchers to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and displaying a wide range of meat products, while ensuring customers receive expert advice and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down carcasses into retail cuts (beef, lamb, pork, poultry).
- Trim, bone, slice, mince, and portion meat to customer specifications.
- Prepare value-added products (sausages, marinated meats, ready-to-cook items).
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Manage stock control, storage, and display.
- Provide excellent customer service by advising on cuts, cooking methods, and portion sizes.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented retail environment.
Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years' butchery experience (retail preferred).
- Strong knife skills and carcass breakdown ability.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Customer service and teamwork skills.
