About Our Client
Our client is a well-established drilling and blasting contractor delivering safe and efficient operations across quarry and mining environments. They are known for maintaining high safety standards, reliable equipment, and strong site-based teams.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be operating Sandvik DX800 and DX900 drill rigs on a quarry site in Townsville, carrying out blast hole / production drilling. The role involves drilling to set patterns and depths, completing pre-starts, maintaining equipment, and working closely with site supervisors to ensure safe and productive operations.
What You Will Need
* Previous experience as a Blast Hole / Production Driller
* Experience operating Sandvik DX800 and/or DX900
* Strong commitment to safety and site procedures
* Ability to work Monday to Saturday
* Current relevant tickets and licences
* Ability to pass a pe-employment medical
