Responsibilities
Operate a range of plant and equipment used in waste operations and provide advice to the public in relation to waste services.
Provide waste, recycling, bulk and illegal dumping collections across four teams from Two Rocks to Girrawheen/Koondoola.
Work most public holidays and some overtime; four weeks annual leave; start time 5:50 am and a nine-day fortnight.
About you / Qualifications
Enthusiastic Waste Operators with knowledge or experience in the safe operation and maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment.
Knowledge and experience in the use of information systems, technology and GPS.
HR driver's licence is essential; skid steer experience would be an advantage.
Community and customer service focus with a willingness to contribute to a team environment.
Safety-aware with experience operating trucks, skid steers and side-arm operations.
