Purpose of the Job
As an Electrician, you will support the Electrical team in the assembly and testing of Control Panels and Pumping Systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in assembling electrical control systems using wiring diagrams and layout drawings, including tasks such as cutting enclosure doors.
You will also be expected to assist in mentoring Trades Assistants and Apprentices, contributing to their development. A collaborative mindset and a commitment to supporting both the team and management in achieving performance targets are essential.
This role will be based in our Regency Park in Adelaide South Australia.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble electrical systems in accordance with Grundfos standards, technical drawings, and bill of materials.
* Develop skills in testing pumping systems to ensure quality and performance.
* Promote and support safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including raising safety concerns, participating in multi-skilling activities, and fostering equity and inclusion in the workplace.
* Perform other duties as required, appropriate to the scope of the role.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Qualified A-Class Electrician
* Preferred experience in manufacturing and line assembly
* Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in supply planning or supply chain
* Flexible and team-oriented, with a willingness to assist others when needed
* Eager to learn and grow within the role
