THE ROLE & WHY JOIN US
We're seeking a passionate and commercially savvy Brand Manager to join Joval Wines in this newly created role. You'll take ownership of strategic relationships with our winery partners, assist in managing our imported portfolio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As our new Brand Manager, you'll be responsible for a blend of brand management, reporting, data analytics, portfolio strategy and relationship management. Accountabilities include:
* Develop and execute brand and trade marketing plans that deliver growth
* Manage budgets, margins, and profitability across a diverse portfolio
* Build and maintain strong relationships with winery partners and internal teams
* Coordinate national activity calendars, events, and sales‑focused initiatives
* Negotiate contracts and trading terms to ensure compliance and performance
* Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies for success
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To succeed in this role, first and foremost you will be a great communicator and have a team first mentality. You'll be able to communicate with stakeholders from all different backgrounds around the country and in Europe with ease. You'll bring:
* Brand management expertise: proven experience in marketing & brand building
* Commercial acumen: strong financial & analytical skills
* Negotiation 101: able to influence & collaborate effectively
* Communication: emails, calls, editorial, briefs, you'll be strong in all areas
* Industry know‑how: experience in wine distribution
* Wine knowledge: understanding of trends, key markets & wine
* Qualifications: ideally WSET L3 or similar
