The Community Engagement team at the Perkins is on the lookout for a digital marketing all-rounder who lives online, has one finger on the pulse of our community and another on the latest social media and digital marketing trends so they can optimise our digital presence.
About this role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Community, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for growing our online communities and increasing their engagement with us.

(Social media for our major fundraising events is managed separately, but you will be expected to pitch in during our busiest event periods.)
What you will get from the experience is a crash course in not-for-profit communications and marketing from a professional team with a reputation for doing things differently while embracing the science of fundraising. You will also be part of a team working to beat the world's toughest diseases, so people can live longer, healthier and better lives.

What you'll bring
This role would suit someone with some digital marketing experience under their belt, who is well-versed in social media strategy, trends and operations, is energetic and open to learning. You might be new to not-for-profit or medical research sectors, but you will understand why we place the donor at the centre of our communications.

* Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of integrated campaign execution across multiple channels
* Excellent storytelling and content creation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging from warm, engaging social posts to technical, science-based content
