Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and developing relationships with commercial real estate developers and investors
* Participating in industry-related events and conferences
* Creating and implementing a clear market coverage strategy to drive origination volume
* Mentoring and assisting junior team members
* Working with the team on credit papers, transaction reviews, financial modeling, market surveys, tenant credit analysis, and analyzing third-party reports
Required qualifications and skills include:
* 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate investment
* Bachelor's degree required, with Real Estate, Business, or Finance major preferred
* Strong network of contacts among owners, developers, brokers, financiers, and others active in Australian real estate markets
* Sophisticated financial skills, quantitative underwriting skills, and capital markets perspective
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to effectively negotiate
