The Payroll Remediation Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll remediation projects. This includes identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance with Australian payroll regulations, and implementing corrective actions to resolve payroll issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of Australian payroll laws and regulations. Monitor and report on the progress of remediation projects to senior management. Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and industry best practices. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of payroll staff. Assist clients to implement continuous improvement initiatives to prevent future payroll discrepancies. Build, develop and manage the Payroll Function. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on payroll remediation. In-depth knowledge of Australian payroll laws and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects. Proficiency in payroll software and data analysis tools. Certification in Payroll Administration or Payroll Management is highly desirable. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
