CATALINA Restaurant is seeking an experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our dessert section. This role suits a confident, organised pastry professional with strong classical foundations, a collaborative leadership style, and a focus on consistency, quality and seasonality.

Located on the waterfront in Rose Bay, CATALINA Restaurant is a long‐standing Sydney institution known for refined dining, thoughtful service, and high‐quality Australian produce. Family‐owned for over 30 years, Catalina operates with a clear focus on professionalism, stability, and attention to detail across all areas of the business.

About the Role

As Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for the day‐to‐day running of the dessert section. This includes menu design, preparation, service execution, and team leadership. You'll work closely with the senior kitchen team to ensure desserts align with the broader menu and meet Catalina's expectations for quality and presentation.

The role requires consistency, organisation, and the ability to lead calmly in a high‐standard kitchen environment.
