Job Overview
The Regional Sales Manager role is a critical position within our business, responsible for driving growth in the ornamental sector. This involves working closely with distributors to educate them on products and market trends, as well as implementing in-field product trials to showcase product attributes and best solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a team of distributors to achieve sales targets by providing training and support, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share through data analysis, market research, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* Work closely with the Ornamental Horticulture Lead to align sales goals with company objectives, ensuring a unified approach to achieving business success.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in nursery management or a related field, with a proven track record of sales success and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong understanding of the ornamental sector, including key players and market trends.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* Certificate in agricultural/horticultural science, or equivalent experience.
Location
This is a home-based role, requiring flexibility on location within the territory. The successful candidate will be required to travel within the area to meet with distributors and attend industry events.
