Accountability to grow and lead the ‘Sales Transformation’ portfolio.
Accountability to grow and lead the ‘Sales Transformation’ portfolio. The candidate will originate new clients for the practice and manage existing client engagements to deliver a profitable annual sales and revenue target for the portfolio of projects and clients.
In response to the overwhelming demand for companies to future‑proof their growth agenda and revenue streams, the position of Sales Lead is a newly created position under the “Go to Market (GTM)” pillar; focused on building and delivering best‑in‑class customer‑led sales transformation programs. The engagements will range from advisory, operating model, sales effectiveness & efficiency, digital & AI‑led transformation to sales operations.
Reporting to Accenture Song leadership based out of Australia, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, dynamic, and commercially driven leader with a strong growth mindset to build and lead a high‑performing team to build a portfolio of clients, sustain existing relationships and drive engagements across Australia and New Zealand.
Leveraging C‑suite relationships, strategic advisory capability and a proven growth track record, this position will provide an excellent opportunity to drive exponential growth and lead large‑scale transformation deals across all industry verticals, through a solid partnership with Salesforce and other relevant ecosystem partners.
The Role
* Create understanding, awareness amongst senior leadership and enable collective pursuit of opportunities across clients around sales transformation, with focus on B2B sales organisations.
* Provide tailored recommendations to address customer challenges by identifying sales advisory, enablement and support opportunities.
* Build consistent & ongoing connections at all levels within the customer’s business, build rapport, drive trust focused on retention.
* Demonstrated experience in managing sales managers, sellers and customer success managers as a part of running a sales team.
* A people leader who will build high‑performing teams and drive engagement teams with cross‑functional skills to deliver successful outcomes for the client.
* Find, win, and lead large scale sales transformation deals that drive business growth for clients.
* Build and lead a lasting relationship that spans Go‑To‑Market (GTM), offering development, assets, and accelerators creation, etc.
* Lead the go‑to‑market initiatives to understand current and future client needs across all industry verticals and apply insights to make recommendations for developing new capabilities and assets aligned with the industry portfolio.
* Lead in interfacing internally within Accenture to collaborate on sales and origination and on Accenture Song solutions into core offerings and industry business services.
* Cultivate relationships with geographic Leadership team and counterparts in Accenture Song, as well as Client Account Leads on the most complex and strategic accounts in the market unit, to ensure the best of Accenture Song’s capabilities are brought to clients.
* Represent Accenture Song at select speaking engagements.
The Candidate
* A proven growth leader and deal maker with the ability to operate with an entrepreneurial mindset and flair in a structured environment; adept at navigating a complex consultancy business and embracing the opportunity it brings.
* In‑depth knowledge and understanding of the end‑to‑end sales process and methodologies and an ability to confidently advise clients on such topics.
* A strong strategic advisor to the C‑suite who will help achieve customer’s growth & revenue goals and sales transformation objectives.
* Gravitas and a proven track record of developing excellent client relationships and being a trusted strategic partner.
* A strong business builder, who can spot opportunity, who is attuned to both organic growth and skilled in incremental business development.
* Proven track record of successfully leading & delivering engagements focused on sales transformation, at scale.
