In addition to core accounting duties, you will play a key role in analysing customer and product-level margins, forecasts and other key business indicators. With representation in all major retailers in Australia and a footprint in 57 countries (with satellite companies and warehousing in the UK and US) – Jack N’ Jill is fast tracking to dominate its market share globally.About the roleAnalyze product and customer-level margins across SKU, product categories, and customer channels (retail, wholesale, e-commerce etc)Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insights on performance and profitabilityMonitor trade spend, promotional effectiveness and discounts to identify margin leakage and assess impact on profitability.Prepare accurate financial reports and dashboards highlighting key margin trends and variancesIdentify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvementsAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal controlsOther duties - Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR duties, reconciliations, and month-end closingsWhat we’re looking forBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or equivalent certification is a plus2-4 years of experience in accounting, must have experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sectorStrong analytical skills with experience in margin, cost, or profitability analysisProficient in Excel (eg pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, Modeling) and familiarity with BI/Reporting toolsExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionallyA proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvementAbility to work autonomously with limited supervision.Culture and BenefitsOur environment is focused, supportive and friendly.
