All you need is a car drivers licence and a positive attitude and we'll handle the rest. Best pay rates in the industry - $36.80 per hour base rate Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver program offers you the support and training you need to become a licensed and confident bus driver. This includes: A friendly and supportive environment An extensive induction training program with a mix of classroom and on-road training Lessons to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence A 12 month training program (Mix of classroom and on the job training) to gain a nationally recognized qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus) Competitive pay throughout your training You will be assigned a Buddy throughout the training process to support your development! Our Bus Drivers operate a combination of services including route services; school services; charters and special events. Currently we have positions available in the following bus depots: North Fitzroy Doncaster Sunshine West Keysborough Heatherton Thomastown Doncaster and Fitzroy North depots have a Monday to Friday rosters, including split shifts with work times between 5am and 7pm (9% loading paid). There is also optional weekend over-time for our people who wish to earn more. Keysborough, Thomastown (limited spaces) and Heatherton (limited spaces), These depots have weekly rotation of am and pm Shifts and operate rosters 5 over 7 days (Require availability from Monday to Sunday and penalties applied to weekend shifts) Sunshine West does a combination of all shifts both straight (5 over 7) and Split (Monday to Friday) About Us As Australia and New Zealand's largest and greenest bus operator, we bring passion and commitment to our important role in the community.
