We are looking to appoint a permanent full timeInventory Manager to be based in our Loganholme branch to take ownership of inventory performance across our national network. This role sits at the intersection of supply, operations, and people leadership and is critical to ensuring the business has the right stock, in the right locations, at the right time.
This is not a procurement or sourcing role. Our supplier base and commercial frameworks are established. The focus is on managing and optimising inventory execution, building strong processes, and leading a small team to deliver consistent outcomes across the business.
About the role
Under the leadership of the National Manager, you will facilitate the planning, ordering and delivery of stock to our distribution centres (Australia and New Zealand) ensuring the company's continuance of providing quality customer service to all Key Stakeholders. Your responsibilities are (and not limited to):
1. End-to-end inventory management across approximately 15 locations
2. Demand planning and stock positioning to support sales and operational requirements
3. Oversight of purchasing activity within agreed supplier frameworks
4. Coordination of inbound supply from both local and overseas sources
5. Establishing, embedding, and maintaining clear inventory processes and controls
6. Leading and developing a small team (approximately four people), setting standards and accountability
7. Working closely with operations, finance, and branch leadership to align inventory outcomes with business priorities
About you
Experience in inventory, supply chain, or operations management within a multi-site business
Strong planning and organisational capability
Confidence leading a small team and driving consistent ways of working
A process-driven mindset with the ability to implement and sustain improvements
A collaborative style and the credibility to work across the business
This role would suit someone with a strong operational backbone, including those who have progressed through office or operations management into broader supply or inventory leadership roles.
