Overview
NET Software Engineer — Location: Canberra, ACT. Schedule: Australian Business Hours (40 hours/week). Employment Type: Contract (12 months). Employment Arrangement: On-site. Security Clearance: Must obtain Baseline.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Azure-based web API and Portal applications to support existing legislative reporting requirements, and new regulatory processes.
* Integrate various system components to achieve a seamless end-to-end experience for users.
* Provide technical advice on issues related to systems development.
* Apply secure coding practices to ensure solutions delivered are secure and robust.
* Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure.
* Create and review technical/release documentation.
* Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams working in an agile structure.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development (.NET Core, ASP.NET)
* Strong experience with Azure services (API Manager, Logic Apps, SQL, Service Bus)
* Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular or React)
* Familiarity with testing tools such as xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, or Playwright
* Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines; strong understanding of secure application development practices
