About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a prestigious Private Client team whose client base includes high‐net‐worth individuals, agricultural landowners, business owners, and trustees. The incoming Private Client Solicitor will manage a stimulating and varied caseload, including matters with technical complexity.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising clients on complex Wills, inheritance tax planning and succession planning
* Drafting and managing discretionary trusts and other trust arrangements
* Handling high‐value and complex estates including business and rural assets
* Delivering estate planning advice to business owners and agricultural clients
* Liaising with financial advisors, land agents, accountants, and tax specialists
* Supporting the firm's reputation for technical excellence and client care
About You
This opportunity would suit a Private Client Solicitor with experience in high‐value and complex matters. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years' PQE and experience advising high‐net‐worth clients and business owners. The firm is open to a wide range of experience levels above this threshold, provided you have the technical skill set and client care required.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
* Strong understanding of trusts, estate planning and inheritance tax matters
* The ability to manage a complex and sensitive caseload independently
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client‐first approach
* A collaborative and professional attitude suited to a close‐knit team
* STEP qualification is desirable but not essential
