About the Role
In this senior position, you will act as the central liaison between the Clinical Lead and the wider clinical team. You will provide advanced clinical oversight, support consistent application of evidence-based practice, and ensure high quality care is delivered across the region. This role is ideal for someone seeking to expand their leadership capability while remaining connected to clinical practice.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and supporting complex clinical assessments.
* Providing guidance in treatment planning and psychological interventions.
* Offering practice support, mentoring, and oversight to Clinical Care Coordinators.
* Monitoring clinical caseloads to maintain service quality and consistency.
* Leading risk assessments and coordinating multidisciplinary care plans.
* Supporting transitions of care, including referrals to tertiary and specialist services.
* Promoting trauma informed, recovery oriented, and family inclusive practice.
* Ensuring compliance with ethical standards and clinical governance frameworks.
* Contributing to continuous quality improvement across the service.
* This is a full time, permanent role based in our Maroochydore office.

About You
You are a committed and skilled clinician who brings strong clinical judgement, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to support colleagues in a dynamic environment. You're ready to take on additional responsibility and help strengthen clinical practice across the region.
We're looking for someone with:
* Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, mental health nursing, or related discipline.
* Current AHPRA registration or eligibility to register with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Extensive experience supporting individuals with complex mental health presentations.
* Experience working cross culturally, particularly with First Nations Peoples.
* Strong capability in trauma informed, recovery oriented practice.
* Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
Requirements
To be eligible, you will need:
* A genuine commitment to improving mental health outcomes.
* A current open Driver Licence.
* A Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or the ability to obtain one.
* A current and satisfactory Police Check.
