The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position is responsible for delivering the store's financial targets and key performance indicators, focusing heavily on creating a warm and genuine customer service experience. This role will also oversee the David Jones and Myer Indooroopilly concession locations, building a team that is empowered to exceed expectations within the retail store.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales, profit, and ensure the achievement of all KPIs as set by the company
* Provide inspirational leadership, training, and develop team capability
* Lead with a focus on strong people management
* Maintain a focus on commercial acumen, ensuring the team understands the store's performance
* Manage effective control of costs
* Drive a customer-centric culture creating a warm and genuine customer service experience
* Adhere to all company policies, behaviors, and procedures
The Ideal Candidate will have
* Proven experience managing high sales turnover in multi-site retail fashion stores
* A passion for retail, exceptional service, and a strong sense of personal style and presentation
* Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and generate efficient rosters
* Experience managing for profit with a commercial approach
* Experience in managing performance, training, and development of a large team
* Skills related to driving productivity among team members
* Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership
