The Management Accountant plays a vital role in providing financial support to operational areas, contributing to process and system improvements.
This position involves preparing financial reports, monitoring KPIs for operational divisions, and conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting: Prepare month-end financial reports in a timely manner.
* Inventory Analysis: Analyze inventory reports and liaise with Operations to investigate discrepancies during month-end close.
* KPI Reporting: Report operational KPIs accurately.
* Ledger Analysis: Ensure revenue and costs integrity through ledger analysis and accruals.
* SOX Compliance: Maintain SOX compliance.
* Reconciliation: Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts as assigned.
* Business Partnership: Partner with business units providing financial insights and support.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting EBITDA for operations.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement process and system improvements.
* Communication: Communicate effectively with operational managers on financial matters.
* Project Support: Support the mobilization of new operational projects.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, be CA/CPA qualified, and have at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality. Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion systems is also required. Knowledge of AI tools like Copilot is a plus.
