Established, national market leading Tier 2 ContractorExtensive project pipeline in Infrastructure, Industrial, Water & Defence sectorsExcellent career progression and culture, projects range from smaller up to $100m+Great opportunity working on projects across Civil, Infrastructure, Utilities, SMP, Piping, Fuel, Water Infrastructure and Defence sectors.A market leading Tier 2 contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to join their growing business in Sydney.You will be responsible for quantity surveying, materials take-offs and design to allow pricing on preliminary design information including prepare and present bid information as part of review and tender presentations.They work across Civil, Infrastructure / Utilities, SMP, Piping, Fuel, Water Infrastructure etc. sectors from smaller up to the value of $100m+, experience with similar projects in these sectors would be an advantage.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Assemble scope of works and request for tender documentationConduct site visits (remote and interstate sites)Conduct commercial, risk and profitability reviews Provide detailed tender handover documentationCreate pricing modelsQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similarMinimum 5 to 10 years+ experience in a similar roleExperience in Bid Management and preparation of tender documentationUnderstanding of Risk ManagementA strong commercial acumenAbility to work part of a team as well as autonomouslyHigh level of organisation and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal skillsExperience with Microsoft Office suite & MS ProjectSuperior knowledge using Primavera P6Construction Safety Induction (white/blue) cardDriver LicenceAbility to obtain a clear Police CheckThis is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click "Apply" to submit your resume or contact Jacob Montague-Day on or Sam Barnes on for further information.
