Attendance for this position is full time, hours being 8:00am - 4:06pm Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services. The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field. It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, operations or educational programs. Direction on targets and goals is provided but the position will have some degree of latitude in determining how they are achieved. This latitude will generally be limited by standard procedures and school policy.Deviation from standard procedures and school policy will require guidance and direction from senior management. Responsibilities
Develop and implement the school¿s ICT strategy in line with educational goals. Manage the ICT budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement and sustainability. Oversee compliance with departmental/state education technology policies. Monitor system performance, troubleshooting downtime, and resolving issues promptly. Oversee deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of school devices (student laptops/iPads, staff laptops, classroom tech, printers, projectors, smart boards). Manage asset inventory, warranties, and replacement cycles. Manage licenses, updates, and compatibility. Support integration of educational apps into teaching and learning. Provide technical support for staff, students, and sometimes parents. Develop user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources. Deliver or coordinate ICT training for teachers to enhance digital pedagogy. Promote safe, responsible, and effective use of digital technologies. Liaise with external ICT service providers, contractors, and education department IT teams. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and service agreements. Work with curriculum leaders to ensure technology supports teaching needs. Administer the DET Teacher Notebook Tranche program, including distribution, collection, record-keeping, and coordination of replacement cycles. Who May Apply

The school opened in Term 1, 2021 providing in excess of 800 students from Prep (Foundation) to Year 6. Edgars Creek Primary School is part of a community precinct.
