Mine Scheduling Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Mine Scheduling Engineer to join our team at the Super Pit in Kalgoorlie. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity which allows you to utilise your previous skills and experience.
Job Description:
* Monitor the daily performance of development and production activities and bring to the attention of the Senior Mining Engineer any apparent trends which may compromise the weekly and/or three-month schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scheduling, sequencing, and execution of daily and/or weekly plan.
* Identify risk and opportunities on daily and/or weekly planning.
* Liaise with Production, Geology, Geotech, Maintenance department to ensure Monthly plan is followed.
* Analyse production data and statistics to amend schedules accordingly.
* Timely delivery of two-weekly plans and schedules
* Working on ramps and haul network designs.
* Coordinate with various stakeholders regarding sequencing, scheduling, and execution of the plan weekly and daily plan.
Requirements:
* Excellent skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
* Competent in the use of mine planning and design software – such as Deswik, Fleet control.
* Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
* Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in the mining industry.
* Significant experience in all planning processes, from short to medium term.
* Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence (Manual).
