We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Installation Technician to join our Electronics Team on a permanent full-time basis.
Responsibilities
* Install, configure, test, and commission electronic security systems including:
o Access Control
o Electronic Intruder Alarms
o CCTV systems
* Conduct site assessments and assist with system design and equipment placement
* Perform repairs, upgrades, modifications, and troubleshooting of hardware and software
* Complete small to medium installation projects as directed by Operations
* Provide technical support and system training to clients
* Liaise with Project Managers to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to specification
* Carry out routine maintenance and fault-finding
* Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
* Accurately document installations, servicing, and maintenance work
* Stay up to date with industry standards and emerging technologies
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven, hands-on experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems
* Strong knowledge of electronic circuitry, cabling, and system integration
* Experience with access control, alarm, and CCTV systems
* Ability to work independently and manage jobs on-site
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Preferred Technical Experience
* Integriti & Tecom Access Control and Intruder Systems
* CCTV platforms such as Milestone, NX Witness, March Networks, Axis
Licences & Requirements
* Private Security Individual Registration
* Victorian Security Registration
* Open Cabling Registration
* Valid Australian driver's licence
* Full-time, permanent work rights in Australia
* White Card (Red Card acceptable)
* EWP Licence (desirable)
