 
        The PSU supports the PSSC in managing and investigating complaints and aims to actively contribution to whole-of-government prevention and early intervention of misconduct utilising data informed insights identified in individual misconduct investigations. This position is a valuable part of attaining this aim by supporting the PSU to achieve a range of innovative enhancements that will improve the whole of government understanding of misconduct and investigation processes. The role will include achieving a broader understanding across the ACTPS of the role of the PSSC, through the development and delivery of training and education initiatives, a variety of communication artifacts and collateral. The Education and Training Project Officer will need excellent oral and written communication skills, be self-motivated, respond quickly to changing priorities and show initiative and sound judgement. Eligibility/Other requirements: Relevant qualifications in a field of communications, engagement, education and/or training in an adult environment or a related field, or significant study towards gaining such qualifications, would be desirable. Educational and professional qualifications checks may be undertaken prior to employment. Criminal history checks will be conducted prior to employment. This position does not require a pre-employment medical. Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
