About This Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team in a key role that focuses on ensuring environmental compliance.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who has the ability to develop, implement and review documented procedures, including environmental and WHS risks, and environmental management documents and plans.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to compile operational and environmental management reports, including annual returns, and undertake regular documented audits on compliance with WHS documents, environmental and operating procedures.
They will be able to work in a collaborative environment, providing expert advice and guidance to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement environmental and WHS risk management strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Compile and submit operational and environmental management reports, including annual returns.
* Conduct regular audits on compliance with WHS documents, environmental and operating procedures.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
Requirements
* Tertiary-level qualification in a discipline applicable to the role, such as environmental science, engineering or a related field.
* At least 3 years' experience in waste compliance or environmental management.
* Detailed understanding of risk management principles and practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary package, including superannuation, leave entitlements and additional benefits.
The total remuneration package commences at $101,528.78 gross per annum, comprising of:
* $201.38 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
