3. Software product managers should have a well-developed creative process that helps them generate, develop, and curate new ideas. They determine the ideas to be worked on based on feedback received about strategy and development processes within the company. User feedback also helps to improve processes, so it’s vital for the product manager to consider it when brainstorming.

5. The product manager must also work on the product strategy by bringing the vision to life. This involves developing and maintaining a practical roadmap that takes all strategic goals into account.

7. A critical part of being a software product manager is keeping up with timelines for implementation, delivery schedules, and deadlines during the development phase.
8. Identifying important features
9. The product manager determines which features to include in their product by considering their relative ranking. The features are ranked by their level of priority/importance and the most essential ones are included on the final list.
10. Clarifying business ideas and ensure their relevance to the desired business value.
11. Assist in shaping the product vision, value and charter in collaboration solution architect and project management and Business Analyst.
12. Collaborate with Owner, solution architect and program manager in the product exploration and document the detailed functional and technical user stories.
13. Identify business users underlying needs and research the product environment and translate the outcome into requirements and features.
14. Assures compliance of the development outcomes with a customer’s business goals.
15. Analysing the structure of a business to determine how it operates and determine its objectives.
16. Developing comprehensive end-to-end Business scenarios, use cases, and test cases.
17. Creating product roadmap, features and prioritizing product backlog with Business Analyst
18. Collaborate with Program management and project management in leading product refinement events.
19. Track and update product requirements, features and keep them relevant to the updated business objectives.
Job Requirement
Required Experience and Qualifications
20. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant study
21. 3+ years of professional experience, at least 2 years of relevant experience in Software development
22. Previous experience as a software Developer is a highly appreciated.
23. IIBA certificate is a plus.
24. Proficiency in English is a must.
