Intrepid Cleaning is hiring! We are looking for an experienced cleaner who wants a stable, long-term position with a supportive company.
Snapshot of the Role
* Location: Midland
* Hours: Part-time 5 days per week (12 hours). Shifts are between 8:30 am – 11:30 am (School friendly!). There is opportunity to take on additional hours on weekends or work evening shifts if desired.
* Pay: Above award $33.61 (cleaners award night rate)

Description of the role
* Cleaning the interior of boarding houses including common areas and staff and student's rooms.
* Vacuuming and mopping floors.
* Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom and laundry fixtures and replenishing consumables.
* Emptying bins and removing rubbish.
* Applying appropriate chemicals to remove stains and dirt.
* Reporting any maintenance issues.
Requirements
* Relevant experience in cleaning schools/offices (minimum 1 year in Australia)
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with school staff.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing workloads.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work unsupervised.
* Ability to show initiative and problem solve.
* Must hold or be willing to apply for a Working with Children Check card.
* Must hold or be willing to apply for a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check via the Department of Education (WA).
