An established and fast-growing residential builder with a strong national presence and a substantial project pipeline is seeking a motivated Accountant to join their finance team. Convenient Hamilton location (parking nearby) Supportive, down-to-earth team culture Ongoing learning and career development opportunities Exposure to a large, growing construction business Your responsibilities will include: Daily banking allocations and reconciliations Preparation and posting of ad hoc monthly journals Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with month-end close processes Weekly cashflow forecasting support Monthly BAS preparation Credit card reconciliations and payments Assisting with Accounts Payable when required Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks About You: 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or related discipline Strong technical accounting knowledge Intermediate to advanced Excel skills High attention to detail and strong numerical ability Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Proactive, solutions-focused and able to manage multiple priorities This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to contribute to a business that is continuing to scale.
