Executive Assistant

The location is flexible/remote (preference towards greater Sydney / Melbourne area).

The CEN National office is located in the Blue Mountains, NSW, and the national team is spread across the country.

Executive Assistant

0.5 FTE (spread over 4 or 5 days) – negotiable

The Executive Assistant (EA) provides high‑level administrative and organisational support to the CEO and other senior staff. The role contributes to the smooth operation of CEN by coordinating executive functions, facilitating communication, and supporting the leadership of the organisation in line with its mission and values.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide high‑level administrative support to the CEO, including scheduling, correspondence, travel arrangements, meeting preparation, and document preparation.
- Send communications to the staff or wider community on behalf of the CEO as directed.
- Assist with travel arrangements for all staff as required.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings such as catering, venue, and travel arrangements.
- Support the coordination of conferences, as required, with the assistance of the Conference Coordinator.
- Manage a National Calendar of events ensuring key sources are updated.
