Role Overview
The Events Manageris responsible forthe end-to-end planning, coordination and delivery of all events and activations for The Local Project. This includes intimate industry gatherings through to large-scale brand experiences and international activations.
This is a senior operational role with full accountability for execution, guest experience,financial managementand on-the-ground delivery. Creative direction, visualstrategyand content are owned by the Marketingmanager. This role exists to ensure every event is delivered flawlessly from an operational,financialand guest experience perspective.
You will work closely with the CEO and CEO's EA and will regularly travel interstate, with occasional international travel as the events platform continues to expand. You will be a confident executor and a natural driver who can run events independently, make decisions in real time and take full ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities
Event Planning and Delivery
* Own the end-to-end operational planning and delivery of all events across Australia and internationally
* Lead timelines, working schedules, run sheets and critical paths
* Independently manage events from concept approval through to post-event wrap
* Be on-site for events asrequiredto lead operational delivery and decision-making
* Manage bump-in and bump-outlogisticsacross venues,suppliersand internal teams
* Act as the primary decision maker for all live operational matters
Guest and Partner Experience
* Own guest experience from invitation through to post-event follow up
* Manage VIPlogisticsin collaboration with the CEO and CEO's EA
* Ensure partner, sponsor and stakeholder deliverables are executed to a high standard
* Uphold luxury hospitality standards across all events
Suppliers and Venues
* Lead all venue, supplier, catering,contractorand technical coordination
* Manage briefings,confirmationsand service delivery
* Build andmaintaintrusted supplier relationships nationally and internationally
Finance and Operations
* Own event budgets end-to-end including forecasting, tracking and reconciliation
* Manage quotes, approvals,invoicesand cost reporting
* Maintainaccurateoperational documentation and financial records
* Ensure eventsremaincommercially responsible and financially controlled
Internal Collaboration
* Work closely with the Marketing Manager who owns creative direction and visual strategy
* Collaborate with the CEO and CEO's EA on guest lists, VIPmanagementand expectations
* Work with the Partnerships Operations Manager on events tied to partner agreements
* Coordinate with Production, Design and Digital teams where events intersect with content capture
About you
* 5+ years' experience in events, activations or operations management
* Proven ability to independently run and deliver complex events end-to-end
* Strong leadership presence with calm judgement in high-pressure environments
* Highly organised, process-driven and detail-focused
* Confident in financial management, budgeting and operational decision-making
* Experience working in luxury, premium or high-profile brand environments (preferred)
* Professional, composed and effective with senior stakeholders and partners
* Comfortable collaborating with creative teams without owning creative direction
* Motivated to grow into a future senior leadership role
