About the role: The Policy Officer, Strategic Policy & Evidence will support a range of project management and policy development functions. The policy officer will be required to contribute material to papers, presentations and other documentation, as well as assist to manage stakeholders such as through direct engagement, arranging meetings, preparing papers, conducting surveys or research in support of the priority projects for the Department of Health. The role requires a highly organised and methodical individual with a communicative and collaborative approach, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision, to ensure that deadlines are met, and a high standard of presentations, analysis, project plans and written communication is achieved. In this role, you will focus on contributing to the completion of projects, managing your tasks efficiently, and integrating feedback to continuously improve your work. Your efforts will support the strategic and operational goals of the Victorian Government. About you: * Demonstrated experience or qualifications in project management and or policy development is desirable. * Basic knowledge of data and financial modelling, economic evaluation and/or cost-benefit analysis is desirable.
