TQA Consulting is seeking a Senior Test Analyst for a 12-month full-time contract in Darwin, NT. Candidates must be based in Darwin or willing to relocate and have lived in Australia for the past 5 years.

About The Role
In this role, you will support the project by developing key testing deliverables (Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases and reporting), and performing the analysis, design and execution of system, UAT and production verification testing. You will also manage defect logging and retesting, maintain test evidence, support automation, and work closely with the Business Analyst to perform end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Senior Test Analyst.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take a lead role across business and project stakeholders.
* Proven ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders across different business areas to achieve high-quality outcomes.
* Demonstrated experience developing Test Strategies and Test Plans.
* Strong experience creating test cases for System Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT, Production Verification Testing, and Regression Testing.
* Proven experience coordinating and managing the UAT phase with business stakeholders.
* Experience in test automation and test management using SmartBear or similar automation tools.
* Strong experience using Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence.
* High proficiency in standard office applications including Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Strong experience in data validation and ensuring data integrity across systems.
* Proven experience in integration and end-to-end testing across multiple systems
* Ability to investigate, analyse and resolve issues in complex integrated environments.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience working within law enforcement or policing environments in government.
* Experience working within the education sector in government.
* Previous experience supporting large-scale or multi-year government programs.
* Relevant testing certification such as ISTQB.
