We are seeking a capable and experienced Electronics Engineer to join our Perth-based engineering team. This is a hands-on role suited to a mid to senior level engineer who enjoys taking ownership of electronic design from concept through to production.
You will be joining an experienced, dynamic and goal-driven team focused on delivering robust, high-quality electronic solutions for demanding environments. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to technically challenging projects while working closely with like-minded engineers.
Key Responsibilities
* Electronic circuit design and development
* Schematic capture and PCB layout
* PCBA design for manufacture and production support
* Prototype development, testing, and validation
* Collaboration with mechanical, firmware, and production teams
* Supporting product lifecycle improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Essential:
* Tertiary qualification in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
* Mid to senior level experience in electronic design and PCBA development
* Strong experience in schematic design and PCB layout
* Proven experience using Altium Designer (preferred platform)
* Experience supporting products through to production
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
* Knowledge of MCU and/or FPGA-based electronics design
* Analogue circuit design capability
* Experience with ruggedised electronics design
* Exposure to high-temperature design requirements
* Understanding of geo-logging or similar field-based environments
Working Environment
This role is primarily Perth-based on-site, working closely with the engineering and production teams, with the option of flexible working arrangements by agreement. The position may involve working with hardware deployed in challenging field environments.
