**What's the role?**
- A hands-on role, the Newsletter Editor will be focused on sourcing great content from across our suite of brands and packaging them into variousnewsletter formats - from breaking news and news wraps through to brilliantly written personalised commentaries on some of the biggest issuesof the day.
- This role will require connecting our Communities each and every day.
- You will be authoring and curating newsletters for a vast audience, bringing them the very latest in news, sport, lifestyle and entertainmentstraight to their inboxes.
- This role can be based in our Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide offices.
**Who you are**:
- To be successful in this role you are a content consumption and distribution machine.
- You know what people care about because you're amongst it,constantly trawling the web and analysing trends.
- You want to always be at the heart of what matters most to your audience.
- You have around 5+ years experience as a journalist and have previously worked in a newsroom environment, with preferably experience indigital media storytelling.
- Create and curate compelling and engaging content through strong writing and quick news judgment
- Identify the key issues of the day by analysing audience data, and then find or create content to package into newsletters to meet that audienceneed
- Change tone, voice and writing style depending on the target brand
- Collaborate with all levels of a newsroom - from junior reporters to senior editors, photographers and videographers.
- Excellent planning and scheduling skills to stay ahead afloat in a busy, "always on" news cycle Write captivating headlines and you have a sixth sense for what will go viral.
- Are a great team player, supporting your teammates and 'jump in' to get things done
- You are vibrant, energised and ready to engage across the organisation.
- You will introduce new and innovative ways to showcase our content and tell great stories in a newsletter format, continually exploring newcustomer and competitor trends in "inbox journalism".
